Banners work similarly to tables and links.

• Add "bx-" to the very beginning of the line to cause a banner to be shown. "x" is the banner number. Forms exist to build and to organize banners.

Once you get into the banner page, you will find three fields near the bottom of the first page: text, background, and border. Color choices should be made for each.

• Hint: If the background color is "FFFFFE" and the border is zero, only banner text will show. In other words, the background of the banner becomes transparent. Try this tool out: Banner Demo

Also, you can use the following technique to make a banner:

• Add "bTEXT-" to the very beginning of the line. "TEXT" is any alpha (a - Z) text you want show as a transparent banner. Example: "bQuick Page Rocks!-" at the beginning of the line yields this banner:

Banner Editor Window

This is the main banner editor. Note the buttons at the bottom. The "Get Default Colors" button does just that. Use it when you want to get back to the last saved color defaults. "Save Defaults Colors" does the opposite. And of course "Create and Save Banner" generates the banner and displays it. You may need to reload to see it change.
